Albuquerque to Carlsbad SE NM 2-day Loop

This is a good two day leisure ride from Albuquerque. This ride keeps you off the interstates and you get to see some of the real sights of South East New Mexico. On the way out of Albuquerque you'll head through Corona on your way to Roswell. You can stop there and see some of the UFO museums and do the touristy stuff. After that, get back on the bikes and continue south through Artesia to Carlsbad.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can go through the Carlsbad Caverns and see some cool sights. You can camp in Carlsbad or in White City. If you're not up for camping, hotels are always an option.

After waking up the next day, head west through Cloudcroft to Alamagordo through some forest land. From Alamagordo, head north up SR-54 and head back to Albuquerque. It's a fun way to spend the weekend away from the city.

Great sights along the way!
