Albuquerque to Las Vegas, NV

If you're looking to get out of Albuquerque for a few days, you can take this ride to Las Vegas, NV. The ride is a little less than 600 miles one way. Along the ride you will see the Hoover Dam plus various historic markers along I-40.

It can get really windy between Flagstaff and Gallup. The traffic can also pick up around the larger cities.

On our ride, we stopped about every 110-150 miles to fuel up and stretch. This seemed to be a good distance, considering in some areas there can be very few places to stop for gas.

Once you get to Vegas you can cruise up and down the strip, go to Red Rock Canyon, visit the Hoover Dam and more.

Rider Comments:
Long ride
This ride was very long. Make sure if you attempt this, you have proper rain gear and a very comfortable seat.

There are a lot of cool sights to see along the way, so make sure you have your camera with you.
