Albuquerque to Santa Fe on Turquoise Trail

Take a ride from Albuquerque to Santa Fe on the east side of the Sandia mountains along the Turquoise trail. Most of the Turquoise trail is wide open with very little traffic.

There are a few spots along the way where the speed limit drops dramatically to anywhere between 20 and 35 MPH. This happens through Golden and Madrid.

While driving on the Turquoise trail, there aren't many places to stop for food or gas, so make sure you fill up before you leave.

Once you get to Santa Fe, there are all the amenities you will need. This ride is a great way to spend the afternoon.

Bobcat Bites
I just did this ride again and stopped at Bobcat Bites for a burger. It was one of the best green chile bacon cheeseburger's I've had here. Definitely worth checking out

Scenery
Excellent choice, Brandon. This ranks high among all the exquiste rides New Mexico has to offer. A stop in Madrid and Cerrillos is a MUST.

Great Ride
This is a great ride to take if you have a day to spend riding around. There are some areas where you can get going really fast, but other areas where you will need to slow down for small towns.
