A great ride to see many scenic areas in northern New Mexico. This ride takes you through Santa Fe, Angel Fire, Taos, Red River, El Vado State Park, Espanola and back to Albuquerque.
The ride is long, so make sure you start with a full tank of gas.

Great Ride and views
I haven't rode this exact route at 1 time, but I just came from ABQ to Taos yesterday, and then over 64 today from Taos to Farmington. Tomorrow I go from Farmington to Los Alamos, Santa fe, and back to my home in Edgewood. I relly like NM on a bike. I have traveled these roads in a car, and by far on a bike it is best. Give yourself time and stop when you see something interesting. Over 64 near El Brazos, snow was still on the ground at 10,000' and temps were a cool 48 degrees on May 9th. Snow melt had the streams and rivers raging. Nice to see the water replenish our aquafirs. I will post my ride and pics later. Highly recommend. Dress for it in layers. I left Taos at 75 degrees, 48 on the high ridge on 64, then back to 75 in Farmington. Stay gassed up even if you think you have enough. Enjoy, Renotunez
