Golden Gate Canyon

This motorcycle ride begins at 5,900 feet in elevation at US 119, climbs to 9,500 feet in elevation as it passes north of Black Hawk and then quickly descents back to 5,700 feet north of Golden, Colorado.

This ride is good for a Saturday morning or if you have a few hours of daylight after work and want to get in a moderate ride. This one takes you through Golden Gate Canyon and offers both nice scenery and fun corners. There is often gravel on the roadway so be cautious on your first ride through.
