Hoosier Pass

Colorado 9 going south from Frisco to Fairplay crosses Hoosier Pass. The north side has a number of switchbacks and the south side passes through a broad valley. There are no campgrounds along Hoosier Pass but at the top there are trail-heads.

Just north of Fairplay, at the south end of the pass, is Alma, the highest town in Colorado.
