Tampa, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater and St. Pete Beach ride
Take this nice ocean front ride around Tampa Florida. Start off by heading toward Tarpon Springs, the former sponge capital of the world. The town is full of Greek's and greek food. Stroll through some of the shops and buy some soap, sponges and just about anything else you can imagine.
After Tarpon Springs, head south to Clearwater beach. As soon as you cross the bridge and get into Clearwater, there's a little restaurant called Cooters that has really good blackened grouper sandwiches and other food. Head to the beach and walk around for a bit. The sand here is always white and the beach is huge.
Continue down Gulf Boulevard through Indian Shores, Redington Shores and eventually you'll get to St. Pete Beach. Along the way you'll pass by the Candy Kitchen in Maderia Beach. They have a lot of old fashioned candy and sodas. Also really good ice cream. If you're still hungry, be sure to stop by Dockside Dave's (one location in Maderia beach and one in St. Pete.) They have the best grouper sandwiches in the entire state. Both locations are on Gulf Boulevard.
This is a great ride to get some seafood and see the beach.
