White Sands, NM Ride: Las Cruces to Alamagordo
This is a nice motorcycle ride from Las Cruces New Mexico to Alamagordo New Mexico. It takes you on US-70 through White Sands National Monument.
If you do this ride, pack some hiking shoes so you're not walking around the white sand area in your riding boots. I made that mistake and immediately regretted it. If you go on a nice sunny day, make sure you bring plenty of sun screen, as the sand is very white.
You can have lunch or dinner in Alamagordo depending on your time schedule. A very fun ride and very different from other rides through New Mexico!
