Rev'it Airvolution Gloves
In preparation for setting out on a 17 day, 5,700+ mile ride this summer we wanted to get some gloves that would provide great protection but also be light for use in the summer heat. After some research we finally decided on the Rev’it Airvolution gloves. They’re made of leather and have finger and knuckle protection which is nice in a light summer glove.
The first time I put them on they felt a little small, but the more I wore them the more comfortable they got. During our ride this summer we hit highs of 113 degrees and lows of 45 degrees. We hit rain, fog, mist, extreme sun, dirt, bugs and more. The gloves held up great through the entire ordeal. Since they are meant to be warmer weather riding gloves, they weren’t quite ready for the cold and rain we hit so I switched to some other gloves during that time. If we got caught off guard though and hit some rain or cool patches, the gloves still worked really well, especially in combination with my heated grips.
Since I got these gloves I’ve put about 8,000 miles on my motorcycle while using them. They have held up extremely well and haven’t started to fray or wear out anywhere. If you’re looking for a nice light riding glove but don’t want to sacrifice hand protection, the Rev’it Airvolution gloves are for you.
